How does SOS work?
SOS users choose from three digital, self-guided programs. They are built on gold-standard scientific practices for building powerful, single-session interventions. Each program takes 10-20 minutes to finish, teaches a different science-backed coping skill for stress, sadness, and worry, and can be completed as many times as users like—with potential to help in new ways every time.
Users can also access a resource center (to connect with emergency supports and existing resources within your organization) and an advice center (where they can scroll, save, and share anonymous coping advice with others in their community).

Who is SOS built for?
We customize your SOS platform for youth (ages 10-17) and/or adults (ages 18+), depending on your community’s needs.
SOS can support:
All students in a school district, as a youth-centered, stigma-free resource
All patients in a clinic, between sessions or while they're waiting for treatment
All staff in an organization or company, to cope with work-related stress

How can I access SOS?
Organizations (school districts, group practices) pay an annual subscription fee, which gives their community members unlimited, 24/7 access to the SOS app and all its features, at no additional cost to them.
At this time, we are offering SOS to organizations (schools, clinics, or companies, rather than individuals). This model ensures that each individual SOS user can access SOS for free.
SOS is available for download at the Google Play and Apple App stores.
At this time, login is restricted to users at approved partner organizations.

Does SOS replace therapy?
NO! SOS does not serve as a "replacement" for psychotherapy or other mental health treatment. Rather, it's designed to enhance, expand, and complement the scope of supports available to your community.
SOS helps ensure that nobody falls through the cracks in moments of stress and need. It teaches and encourages use of personally-tailored, in-the-moment coping skills; shares words of support from peers, when progress feels hard; and connects people with existing community resources, if and when they need additional help.
